Hi, I am the Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector for Peterlee and the surrounding villages. I have performed this role since 2022. I joined Durham Constabulary in 2006 as a PCSO and became a PC within the organisation in 2008. Over the last 17 years I have performed various operational roles; Response PC, Sgt and Insp, Hate Crime Insp and Alcohol Harm Reduction Insp and now NPT Insp. I enjoy this role as it enables me to build community relationships, address local issues, prevent crime and pursue criminals.
I am the Neighbourhood Sergeant for Peterlee and the surrounding villages. I absolutely love community policing and making our neighbourhood a safer place. My team and I are dedicated to making the local area a safer and happier place to live. I hope to see you all around on my patrols.

Hi I am Demi Haggar and I have recently joined the Neighbourhood team after working Response for several years. I am looking forward to getting to know my community and tackling crime in our area.
PC2885 Jonny Davis - Been a Police Constable for 9 years where 6 years was spent on Response Policing and the last 3 have been spent within the Neighbourhood Policing Team covering the Wingate and Trimdon Station / Deaf Hill areas. I am also a trained Police Medic and have been trained as a specialist Police Support Unit (PSU) for the last 6 years.
Hi I am Stu and I cover the Wingate area which includes, Trimdon, Hutton Henry and Station Town. I joined the neighbourhood policing team within the last 3 months. Prior to this I worked on response where I developed a solid foundation for fast-paced, high-pressure situations. I also received the award for probationer of the year in my first year in Durham Constabulary which I am immensely proud of along with being nominated for a police bravery award. Now in the neighbourhood role I am focusing on community-based work, building trust with residents, addressing local concerns and working with partners and the wider team to prevent crime.
I am Kaitlin, I cover Wingate & Trimdon. I have been in Durham Constabulary 3 Years and i enjoy serving the community.
I am the PCSO covering, Wingate, Station Town and Trimdon, with over five years experience with Durham Constabulary. In my role as a PCSO my main focus is to work closely with the local community to tackle issues what matter most to residents, weather that be offering reassurance, addressing issues relating to ASB or supporting the wider policing team. I am passionate about the villages I cover and will ensure I continue to be visible and approachable.
Youth Nuisance / ASB

To tackle this we have been:
- Carrying out high visibility patrols along with colleagues from Durham County Council Neighbourhood Wardens Team and ASB Team
- We have ASB meetings to discuss ASB suspects with our Durham County Council colleagues and housing provider teams.
- Use of Anti-Social Behaviour Contracts (ABCs), Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Community Protection Notices on offenders of ASB
In recent weeks, officers have referred numerous youths in Trimdon to the Durham County Council Anti-social Behaviour Team.

Off-road bikes used illegally often cause noise nuisance, danger to pedestrians and damage to local green spaces. Taking these vehicles off the road helps prevent accidents and restores peace in our neighbourhoods. This remains as one of the priorities.

- Use Traffic 183’s, Traffic 184’s, Section 59 Powers, and No insurance powers to deal with riders and people identified as being involved
- Work with housing providers of those identified as being responsible
- Intelligence gathering
