I am the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) Inspector for Durham City and the surrounding villages, including Framwellgate Moor and Meadowfield Section Office and Sherburn Road Section Office.
I joined Durham Constabulary in 2003 and have worked in various operational roles throughout the organisation, including response, crime team, custody and neighbourhoods.
I have been in Durham Constabulary for several years working in various positions such as, alcohol licensing, response Policing, neighbourhood policing, and now in a new role as the Sergeant at Sherburn Neighbourhood Team.
I am committed to reducing crime and improving public confidence.
I hope to connect with the community and make the area safer for everyone.

I joined Durham Constabulary as a Police Constable in 2020. From joining, I worked on response in Durham City until joining the beat team in the summer of 2024.
Alongside PCSO Hodgson I cover Sherburn Village, Sherburn Hill, Shadforth, Ludworth, Littletown, Low Pittington & High Pittington.
As a team we actively work to target criminality and anti-social behaviour in the area, to ensure our residents feel safe and secure in their community.
I am a Police Constable with Durham Constabulary with over 16 years’ experience in policing. After spending 8 years as PCSO with Durham I joined as a PC in 2017. Since then, I worked on response in Durham City before moving to Norfolk Constabulary for 3 years, working in Norwich City Centre. I returned to Durham in the spring of 2023, shortly before joining the neighbourhood Policing Team.
I work closely with PCSO Dickinson, covering West Rainton, Carville and Belmont.
As a team we aim to prevent and effectively investigate crime and anti-social behaviour in your area, working alongside partnership agencies to ensure our residents fell safe within their community.
I have been with Durham Constabulary now for 11 years and cover the areas of Sherburn Village, Sherburn Hill, High/Low Pittington, Littletown, Shadforth and Ludworth.
I am one of the key contacts for the local community to discuss any policing-related concerns. I attend regular PACT meetings as an opportunity to meet local residents and team up with partner agencies to help tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
