Neighbourhood Policing Team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Durham Constabulary police officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) dedicated to serving your community.
We work closely with residents and partners to decide our policing priorities for the area and to solve problems. We detect and prevent crime and disorder and aim to build safer, more cohesive communities.

Retail theft at Morrisons,neighbouring shops and North Road retail park.
Action taken:
OP Cargo - increased Hi visibility patrols with uniformed officers within retail premises. Working with multi agency partners Shopwatch to deter and detect suspects, use of appropriate outcomes such as arrests, banning notices and bail conditions.

ASB caused by drugs and alcohol users at associated addresses
Action taken:
Regular visible foot patrols conducted by local neighborhood PCSOs in and around North gate to deter and prevent further ASB.

Speed Watch in hot spot areas
Action taken:
PCSOs to conduct speed watch at different times to reduce speeding concerns.
