I am a Police Inspector with over 22 years' service. I began my career on Response in the Crook and Bishop Auckland areas, followed by a decade on traffic / firearms. I was promoted into the Force Control Room where I served for 3.5 years, working as Force Incident Manager and a Tactical Firearms Commander. Since September 2024 I have been the Neighbourhood Police Inspector for Chester le Street, overseeing the implementation of Operation DRIVE and the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee. I am proud to serve the local community and am determined for our team to be visible and proactive in disrupting crime and anti-social behaviour, using a problem solving approach with partners to make sure Chester le Street is a great place to live and work.

I am a Police Sergeant with 23 years’ service. My career began in 2002 on Response at Peterlee/Seaham where I served for 17 years. I was then promoted to Sergeant at Bishop Auckland Response and covered this area for 3 years. In addition, I have covered Darlington Response and have been a Custody Sergeant before moving to the Executive Department where I was the Staff Officer to the Deputy and Assistant Chief Constables.
In January 2024 I moved to the Pelton Neighbourhood Policing team which covers Pelton, Ouston, Grange Villa and Sacriston. I am proud to serve the local communities and passionate around reducing crime and Anti-Social Behaviour through initiatives like Operation Drive and Operation PAVE which are problem solving approaches with other departments and partners to make sure the whole Chester-le-Street areas are a safe place to live and work.

I am a Police Constable and I have worked for Durham Constabulary for six years. I joined the force in 2019 as a response officer and moved to the Neighbourhood Policing Team two years ago. I am currently the beat officer for Pelton, West Pelton, Ouston and Urpeth Grange. I am committed to keeping my area safe and look forward to working within the community and solving problems together.

Becoming a Police officer was a lifelong ambition for me, and it is now something I am very proud of and passionate about.
I have been a response police officer for 5 years and joined the NPT team 6 months ago. I am PC for Sacriston, Edmonsley, Kimblesworth and Nettlesworth. I'm very keen to tackle crime in my area as well as ASB.
I am always happy to listen to any community concerns, if you see me out and about, please stop and say hello.

Hello, I’m Sam and I joined Durham Constabulary in 2019 as a PCSO. I currently cover Plawsworth, Nettlesworth, Sacriston and Edmondsley. I love working with the local schools to help build great relationships between the youths and the Police and I am also one of the key contacts for the rest of the community to discuss any Police-related issues. You can find me out and about within my areas and I am always happy to listen to any concerns.

I joined Durham Constabulary as a Police Community Support Officer in December 2024 where I joined Chester Le Street neighbourhood team. I started off in the town team for the start of my training period and then moved over to the Pelton team where I was given Sacriston, Edmondsley and Nettlesworth as my patch. I am one of the key contacts for the local community to discuss any police-related issues and I attend regular PACT meetings to engage with partner agencies to help tackle crime and ASB.
