Two charged with attempted murder following suspected Darlington stabbing

Two men have been charged with attempted murder following a suspected stabbing in Darlington.
Officers were called at 1.05am yesterday (January 8) to reports that a man had been assaulted at the BP garage on High Northgate.
He sustained a number of stab wounds and was taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, for treatment.
Two men, aged 38 and 26, were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into police custody.
They have both been charged with attempted murder and robbery and remanded in custody to appear at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court today (January 9).
