Superintendent Wheatley saddles up for Gratitude Games

Superintendent Lesley Wheatley is saddling up for the upcoming Gratitude Games, a multi-sport event for emergency services workers raising money for mental health charities.

Many emergency service workers are at increased risk of mental health challenges due to the often traumatic and high-pressure incidents they deal with day to day, making support initiatives like this especially important.

And she’s not horsing around… Lesley and her horses, William and Bodhi, are neigh-joke taking centre stage in the dressage competition with an unforgettable 80s-inspired routine featuring Footloose, Flashdance, a touch of The Jungle Book and even A Town Called Malice (with a little Billy Joel twist thrown in).
