A big welcome to our newest police community support officers

Fourteen new Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) have officially joined Durham Constabulary.
They were welcomed on Tuesday by Deputy Chief Constable Ciaron Irvine at Meadowfield Training Centre, where they will begin their policing journey.
The recruits will spend the next four weeks completing their initial training, developing the skills and knowledge needed to support communities across the county.
From the end of June, they will move into neighbourhood teams across the force, working alongside experienced mentors as they begin their roles where you live.
