Good boy, Dagger.
On Saturday night, as officers were driving to an immediate response incident in Crook, a car made off after seeing the blue lights of the panda car.
The driver of the car then drove through a red light before crashing, with the occupants running off across fields.
PD Dagger and his handler, PC Rispin, were deployed to the scene and Dagger managed to pick up a scent.
Within minutes, he had located a suspect hiding in undergrowth who was arrested by officers.
PD Dagger only passed his 13-week training course last December, so is a relative newbie to the team.
Well done, Dagger – a great find! 🐾
