Man charged in Lanchester attempted arson investigation

A man has been charged as part of an ongoing investigation into an attempted arson at a house in Lanchester.

Officers were called to an incident at an address in Manor Grange shortly after 6.15pm on Thursday, January 7.

Thankfully, no-one was injured.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and subsequently charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life.

He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday, February 21).
