WATCH: The ART of Dangerous Driving | More of Durham's Worst Drivers Caught on Dashcam - YouTube
Welcome to the Operation Snap Gallery - a collection of artworks curated by Durham Constabulary.
The theme of this exhibition is 'Poetry In Motion: The Art of Dangerous Driving'.
Featured are works from across County Durham and Darlington by drivers who explore the avant-garde side of road safety, and who take a uniquely impressionistic approach to the Highway Code.
All of the drivers included in this compilation were caught on camera and submitted to us via Operation Snap, which is our online portal allowing road users to submit their own footage to our roads policing unit.
Each video is reviewed by a member of the team, and appropriate action is taken where necessary.
You can submit to Op Snap by visiting www.durham.police.uk
Casualty Reduction Co-ordinator Pete Tate said: “Across County Durham and Darlington, we all have the right to use our road networks safely, and that means identifying dangerous drivers and dealing with them accordingly.
“With the increasing prevalence of dashcams and other journey cams nowadays, it’s getting harder and harder for bad drivers to get away with carelessness and dangerous driving, and putting other road users at risk.
“If you spot something, tell us.”
