You never know what you’re going to find when you carry out a warrant….
Officers recovered kilograms worth of cannabis, and thousands of pounds worth of cocaine and heroin after raiding a house in Willington on Friday (March 28).
And on top of the drugs, a machete and police-style baton were also seized from the address.
A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and possessing an offensive weapon and taken into custody.
The drugs and weapons will be destroyed and an investigation is ongoing.
The warrant was executed as part of Operation Drive which aims to address community concerns such as anti-social behaviour, shoplifting, drug-related issues, traffic offences, and crime prevention.
