Stay safe this Bonfire Night

The safest way to enjoy bonfire night is by attending a registered, organised display.

Please remember:

• It’s illegal to set off or throw fireworks, including sparklers, in the street or any other public place
• Fireworks must not be set off after 11pm (midnight on bonfire night)
• It’s illegal to sell fireworks to under-18s

Anyone found breaking these laws could face a fine of up to £5,000 or a six-month prison sentence.

We also ask everyone to be considerate of neighbours, properties and pets. Loud noises can cause anxiety and stress, especially for dogs. Please keep pets indoors and never take them to a firework display.
