Drugs seized and man arrested following warrant in Darlington

Police with a warrant to search this property.

On Friday (October 3), officers from Darlington Neighbourhood Team carried out a warrant at a property on Lowe Street where they found a large quantity of drugs, including:

• Cocaine
• Ketamine
• Cannabis resin
• Cannabis vapes
• Cannabis-infused ice pops and sweets

The drugs were seized and a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply.

He was interviewed by officers and released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.

The warrant was carried out on the back of intelligence we received regarding drug activity in the area.
