Forever home sought for Taz

Everybody meet our beautiful boy Taz who is on the lookout for a ‘furever’ home.

 

Taz is a Belgian Malinois and approximately 14 months old.

 

Sadly, he has not had the best start in life. He was found abandoned as a young pup and his options became limited on finding him somewhere to go.

 

He came to us with the hope he could become a part of the team here as a fully working police dog but unfortunately he didn’t have all the attributes we would be looking for to fulfil his role effectively.

 

Taz is a high-drive, boisterous, large dog. He will require strong firm handling and an experienced home in this breed who can cater to both his needs physically and mentally.

 

He has lived his whole life in a kennelling environment so may take a little time adjusting to living within a home.

 

Because of his breed and high-drive nature, he can’t be rehomed with cats or young children although children maybe considered if over the age of 16 who are experienced and confident around the breed.

 

Despite his rough start in life, Taz loves humans and adores being fussed with, playing fetch and given lots of attention.

 

With the right home and a little bit of training we believe Taz can thrive and be a fantastic loyal companion for someone whilst also finally getting his happy ending.
