New PCSOs welcomed into the force

A dedicated team of 16 PCSOs is set to join the streets, bringing even more support to local neighbourhoods.

The recruits were officially welcomed into the force earlier this month and had the chance to meet Chief Constable Rachel Bacon today as she popped by their training centre in Meadowfield.

The recruits will take part in a full training course before teaming up with dedicated mentors and joining their new teams across the county.

This is just one of several intakes each year as we continue our commitment to neighbourhood policing.
