In a service led by force chaplain, Reverend Adrian Gatrill, officers and staff gathered in our memorial garden at HQ to honour those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
During the First World War, 54 Durham Constabulary officers answered the call to serve their country and never returned home.
A further 26 lost their lives during the Second World War.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
