The family of a man from Leeholme who died in a collision earlier this week say he will never be forgotten.
Paul Joe Robinson, known to everyone as Joe, died when his car collided with another car on the B6282 near Toft Hill, on Wednesday (February 19).
The 22-year-old’s family said in a statement today: “We are all heartbroken at the loss of Joe.
“He was a loving son, brother, uncle and boyfriend. He will be missed by all his friends and family, but especially his mam, dad and stepmam.
“Joe was a little character, and he will never be forgotten.”
The collision between Joe’s black Peugeot 207 and a white Kia Ceed occurred at about 11.15am.
The B6282 was closed in both directions between Nettlebed Lane and the A68 for several hours to allow collision investigators to examine the scene.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are still keen to speak to witnesses who have not already contacted police or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident and both vehicles before the incident occurred.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact our investigators at [email protected] quoting incident number 122 of February 19.
