For clarity, the request is for the following recorded information, with figures provided separately for December 2024 and December 2025:

The total number of roadside breath tests conducted for suspected drink-driving.

The total number of roadside breath tests which produced a positive result for alcohol.

The total number of people arrested for a drink-driving offence.

As stated in my previous email, I am happy to accept the closest equivalent figures if the force cannot readily distinguish roadside breath tests from other breath tests.

December 2024 - 1338 Breathalysed / 114 Positive Breath tests or refused
December 2025 - 1019 Breathalysed / 74 Positive Breath tests or refused.

December 2024:

Drug Driving Offences - 58
Unfit through Drink/Drug - 22
Fail to Provide - 6

December 2025:

Drink Driving Offences - 31
Drug Driving Offences - 62
Unfit through Drink/Drug - 20
Fail to provide - 5
