For the purposes of this request, "e-scooter" refers to a privately-owned electrically powered scooter (powered transporter) and does not include electrically assisted pedal cycles (e-bikes), electrically powered motorcycles or mopeds.

Please provide the following information for each of the calendar years 2023, 2024 and 2025:

1. The number of privately-owned e-scooters seized by your
2. Of those e-scooters seized, the number that were subsequently released or reclaimed by their owners.
3. The number of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs), Traffic Offence Reports (TORs), or equivalent traffic disposals issued in relation to the use of privately-owned e-scooters.

I am writing to inform you that we have searched our records and can confirm that the information is held in part by Durham Constabulary.

With regards to question 3, there were 0 FPNs, TORs or any other form of traffic disposal issued to the owners or riders of the privately-owned e-scooters referenced in questions 1 and 2.
