Here you will discover what it really means to be a police officer, how to apply and what to expect throughout your recruitment journey!
The Durham team will conduct a welcome presentation to all new potential recruits with information on the application process, qualifications required, the different entry routes available, what a day in the life of looks like and what the different routes feel like from lived experience!
We will then have time after allowing you to ask as many questions as you like to all our relevant teams throughout the selection process:

As frontline police officer’s you will be the face of the constabulary supporting local communities, building relationships, and combating crime. It is a vital role and one that makes a tangible difference to the communities in which we serve.
