Alleged conduct:
It is alleged that the officer has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Discreditable Conduct, Honesty and Integrity, Duties and Responsibilities.
It is alleged that on the 11th March 2024, having been provided with information by the Professional Standards Department regarding a third party, the officer dishonestly informed the Professional Standards Department they knew minimal information about the third party when in fact the officer was aware of more information about the third party.
It is alleged the officer failed to declare a Notifiable Association in March 2024, and after contact on the 26th April 2024 by the Professional Standards Department, the officer failed to declare any change in circumstances, including for a vetting review on the 7th May 2024.
It is alleged on the 25th April 2024 the officer was dishonest when informing her tutor that she had an issue at home which would prevent her from answering any TEAMS calls, when in fact there was no issue as reported by the officer and she visited her gym between the hours of 0930 – 1030hrs.
It is alleged that on the 28th August 2024, having been provided with pre-interview disclosure in relation to an on-going misconduct investigation, the officer sent hurtful and offensive messages to a family member of the person’s partner, she suspected was a witness in the misconduct investigation.
It is alleged that this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct and is so serious as to justify dismissal.
Any accredited member of the media and public must adhere to any reporting restrictions that may be imposed by the Chair of the Misconduct Hearing.
Note that parts of the hearing may be held in private to protect sensitive and confidential information. Reporting restrictions may also be made at the discretion of the Chair.
