Alleged conduct:
It is alleged that the officer has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct.
It is alleged that Officer X spoke or committed a number of inappropriate and sexualised words or acts on Sunday 7 and Monday 8 May 2023, whilst off duty. Officer X was out socially with colleagues, including female policing colleagues Officer A, Officer B, Officer C and Officer D.
It is alleged that this conduct, if proven, amounts to gross misconduct and is so serious as to justify dismissal.
Any accredited member of the media and public must adhere to the reporting restriction imposed by the Legally Qualified Chair that the persons known as Officer X and Witness A, B, C and D should be referred to by these titles throughout the proceedings and in any public record of it and their identity should not be revealed directly or indirectly.
The media may make written representations upon these directions to the Legally Qualified Chair by 4pm on 12 February 2025.
