  • 30 December 2018 - Speeding vehicles

    There have been reports of vehicles speeding on the B1283 road going through Sherburn Hill in both directions. 

This is what we have done

    The neighbourhood team will be monitoring the area to identify any persons responsible. Any individuals identified will be dealt with appropriately. A Community Speed Watch volunteer group is being set up to deploy speed watch operations in the area.


    There is currently a joint PACT meeting for Sherburn Hill, Shadforth and Ludworth areas. These are PACT walkabouts and are held in the following locations:  

    • Tuesday 23rd July 2019 at 10am - Sherburn Hill Methodist Church
    • Tuesday 17th September 2019 at 10am -  meet outside of Shadforth Village Hall.
    • Tuesday 26th November 2019 at 10am - meet outside of Ludworth Community Centre.
