Location: Chester le Street

Salary: Scale 4£21,837 - £24,156 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. There will also be a requirement to work unsocial hours including evenings weekends as and when required.

Job type: Permanent 

As a member of the HOLMES indexing team, you will have a key role in supporting major and complex investigations for Durham Constabulary working alongside the Major Crime and Complex Safeguarding teams. You will be part of the investigation teams briefings and contribute to the indexing procedures agreed with the Senior investigating officer. You will be required to input data onto the HOLMES 2 computer account or manual incident room system. Accurately indexing data as directed and complete research to assist Action and Document management and the flow of intelligence / evidence in the MIR. You will receive a dedicated training course to equip you with the technical knowledge and skills required for the role.

Qualifications / Experience Test
Qualifications: 4 GCSE’s including English Language or Literature and Mathematics (Grade 9 to 4/A to C). An individual who possess an equivalent e.g. NVQ must provide evidence of Maths and English.
