Location:          Office of Durham Police and Crime Commissoner, Police Headquarters 

Salary:               Intern £20,000 

Hours:               37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday – Flexible working scheme applies.

Role details: 

The Durham Police and Crime Commissioner is looking to fill the vacancy of Policy and Commissioning Officer (Graduate Internship). 

To provide an advisory support service to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) and her senior staff, focusing on the key policy areas related to the prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) agenda.

You will have an interest in current affairs, and in how decisions are made about the delivery of services to the general public.

The PCC welcomes applications from everyone, but as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Background members are currently under-represented we would encourage applications from these groups. Appointment will be based on merit.
