Warrant
Always here to listen.
Thanks to community reports from concerned residents in Bishop Auckland, officers were granted a warrant to search a house in Nelson Street under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Wednesday.
Officers from the neighbourhood team and response attended and on this occasion, we’re happy to report that no drugs were found but lines of enquiry continue.
Sergeant Victoria Ord said: “Illegal drugs bring misery to our communities and we will always act on intelligence to keep residents safe.
“I’d like to thank the community for reporting their concerns and encourage them to keep working with us to help us to help them.”
