Victim Feedback - 2021/22

We continued our positive performance from the last reporting year in terms of what our victims told us about the service they had received from us, reflecting the good work of the force.

Victims told us that taking the whole experience into account, 82% were satisfied with the way their crime was dealt with; 96% of victims indicated that they were satisfied with the ease of contacting us, and over 80% were satisfied with the actions we took to investigate their crime.

Satisfaction with the way we keep victims informed about the progress of their investigation has seen a positive increase with 78% of our victims saying they are satisfied with the follow up received, up from 74% in the 2020/21 results.

Work continues with our strategic and operational teams, with a keen focus on ensuring compliance with the Victims Code of Practice and we hope to see this work reflected in the 2022/23 results.
