Security Systems Policy
The Security Systems Office provides a quality service in relation to the administration of the Security Systems Policy. Through the implementation of this Policy, and working in partnership with the security industry, there has been a continuous reduction in false alarm calls, which has led to an improvement in the efficiency of police officers attending criminal incidents.
The office also provides CCTV advice at all levels; ranging from Local Planners/ Architects to members of the business community. Advice is sought on data protection issues.
In-house police alarm systems are also purchased, repaired and controlled from this office.
