The Spennymoor and Ferryhill Neighbourhood Policing Team are a committed team of Police officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who take a pro active and positive approach in dealing with crime and quality of life issues within the communities they serve. NPTs (Neighbourhood Policing Teams) are intelligence led and deliver results through partnership and team work.

The team work in partnership with GADD (Gay Advice Durham/Darlington) and discuss the variety of issues which affect LGBT people living in our areas. Emma Roebuck has spoken at length to both beat teams and her trust in us ensures an effective relationship.

The NPT understand that many people have confidence and trust issues with approaching the Police whether it is to report an incident or just to say hello. To help combat this the NPT have put in a confidential hotline messaging service which is only accessed by the Beat Teams. This allows you to leave intelligence on crime being committed in your area. All information received is treated confidentially and can be left anonymously. Alternatively you can leave your contact details and your local officer will get in touch as soon as possible.
