Your Neighbourhood Inspector

Your Neighbourhood Inspector My name is Bill Bentham and I am the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Spennymoor and Ferryhill.

I lead a committed team of officers and PCSO’s who’s aim is to ensure a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities they serve. We have already significantly reduced crime and anti-social behaviour and we are striving to maintain and where possible further reduce those levels throughout this difficult period.

As we are accountable to you the community, I would encourage your attendance at the PACT meetings so that we can work together in setting local priorities. We need your information so that we target those places and those people that are causing the most problems.

Your feedback is essential - we are your officers carrying out your tasks to make your life and communities safer and better places to live
