Newton Aycliffe

This area covers Newton Aycliffe, Aycliffe village, Middridge, Shildon, Eldon, Sedgefield, Bradbury, Mordon, Fishburn and the Trimdons , a total population of 50,000 people.

We work from the main station at Newton Aycliffe and the local section offices at Sedgefield and Shildon. Work starts soon on a new station at Newton Aycliffe, during which time it will temporarily re-locate to premises at Parsons Court.

The area is covered by a local CID team, five response teams and neighbourhood teams.

The neighbourhood teams work from each of the three local stations. Each has a sergeant, PCs and PCSOs, each with a geographical responsibility.

They are supported by a crime reduction officer and a community liaison officer. Special Constables have also worked with us to provide extra patrols and visibility.

Your Neighbourhood Inspector

Your Neighbourhood Inspector I am Mark Hall and I am proud to be the Neighbourhood Inspector for Newton Aycliffe, Shildon and Sedgefield areas.

My aim is to work with you, other agencies and my team of Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers to maintain and improve quality of life in these communities.

Together we have already made many improvements and I know that we can continue with these steps of progression by working together.
