Estates Department
The Estates Department comprises a professionally qualified team with responsibility for managing the police estate.
The services provided range from day to day property maintenance, cleaning services, grounds maintenance through to refurbishment programmes and new build schemes.
Strategic advice is provided on the utilisation, cost and sustainability of existing buildings, the disposal of surplus buildings and the location and design of new buildings.
The department also manages the forces energy programme and environmental policy and provides information and advice. The energy programme each year introduces new energy saving measures and upgrades along side renewable sources.
